Zusammenfassung

Die Synovialektomie in den Larsenstadien I-III ist ein bewährtes Verfahren bei Mitbefall des Ellenbogens im Rahmen der rheumatoiden Arthritis und der juvenilen idiopathischen Arthritis. Auch in Kombination mit einer Radiuskopfentfernung in den Stadien II-IV darf mit einer zufriedenstellenden Schmerzbefreiung und einem Funktionsgewinn gerechnet werden. Selbst die Spätsynovialektomie in erweiterter Form in den Stadien IV und V kann temporär eine Alternative zur Endoprothetik sein.

Summary

Synovectomy is a common procedure in operative treatment of elbows in rheumatoid and juvenile idiopathic arthritis, especially in Larsen stages I-III. In combination with resection of the radial head in stages II-IV satisfying reduction of pain and a functional benefit can be expected. Even late synovectomy in stages IV and V can be a temporary alternative to joint replacement.
