Zusammenfassung

Es wurden 19 Patienten mit einem speziell entwikkelten Programm des Computerperimeters Octopus untersucht, welche am Typ I der Chorioretinitis erkrankt waren und mit Laserstrahlen behandelt wurden. Durch das enge Prüfpunktraster war es möglich, bei 66 Prozent Gesichtsfelddefekte zu finden, die jedoch nur 4-10 Dezibel tief waren und deshalb subjektiv nur selten als störend empfunden wurden.

Summary

The authors examined 19 patients who were suffering from central serous chorioretinopathy (Tpye I) were treated with argon laser beams with a special user-defined program of the Octopus computerized perimeter. Relative scotomata were found at a depth of between 4 and 10 decibels in 66 percent of the patients; they were seldom subjectively considered to be a disturbance.
