Abstract: Objective:Basing on the study of modern literature,we classify the syndromes of ischemia stroke. Methods:The modern literature of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) of ischemia stroke in 1999-2009 was reviewed, and the signs and symptoms of ischemia stroke were collected. The symptoms of ischemic stroke were defined. The syndromes of ischemia stroke were classified by using frequency, cluster analysis and factor analysis. Results:Based on cluster analysis and factor analysis results, combined with frequency,we concluded that literature syndromes of ischemia stroke were individually:syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency, stirring wind due to yin deficiency, syndrome of intermingled phlegm and blood stasis, syndrome of wind-phlegm invading upward, syndrome of hyperactivity of liver yang, syndrome of phlegm-heat blocking internally. Conclusion:By statistical analysis of ischemic stroke disease in modern literature,it initially reflects the common syndrome and syndrome elements of ischemic stroke.
