However, this study indicates that the highest period of sealant failure occurs at baseline and after six months following the sealant application, with salivary moisture contamination considered the main etiological factors for this failure [44,51]. That said, future studies may need to investigate more time frames with extended follow-up assessments as they may yield different findings.
