Abstract

This is a reflective account of the spiritual care provided by an acute hospital chaplain offered during the first weeks of COVID-19 in the United Kingdom, and some of her feelings resulting from ministering to patients in intensive care and providing support to staff.

  • Lynn Busfield, Midlands

    Lynn Busfield is an ordained Anglican priest who has worked as a generic chaplain in a multi-faith chaplaincy team for almost seven years. She has previously worked as a business journalist in London, a parish priest in Wiltshire and Worcestershire, and as a hospice chaplain in Cornwall.
