Oxcarbazepine (Tolep®1, Novartis Farma S.p.A., Origgio [VA], Italy) is an antiepileptic drug that has proven efficacy as monotherapy and as combination therapy in the treatment of partial seizures in adults and children with epilepsy. A recent investigation also suggested the efficacy and tolerability of oxcarbazepine in the treatment of bipolar disorder.[1] …
