DOI change log
United Nations Industrial Development Organization: INDSTAT2, 1963 -
A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is assigned to each international database every time there is an update to the data. The new DOI will resolve to this page containing a log of previous editions since the allocation of its first DOI. The DOI system supports resource discovery and simplifies citation for users of data collections. Data producers benefit directly through increased visibility of their work.
Abstract:
The INDSTAT2 2018 ISIC Revision 3 database contains data for the period from 1963 onwards for 170 countries. Data are arranged at the 2-digit level of the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) Revision 3 pertaining to the manufacturing sector, which comprises 24 industries. The database combines historical time series data derived from INDSTAT3 ISIC Rev.2 with recent years’ data, which include data reported in ISIC Revision 3 as well as those reported in ISIC Revision 4. However, it should be noted that time period covered by the database, as well as item coverage, differ from country to country.
