Cuminum cyminum seed extract possesses some important bioactive compounds, and possesses excellent antioxidant, antibacterial, antiseptic, antifungal and anti-inflammatory activities [13,14]. Previously, Cuminum cyminum seed extract have been used for synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles such as silver [15], iron [16], copper [17], and gold [18].

One problem with the production of cumin is its weak vigor since the seeds of this plant contain 10% oil (Gohari and Saeidnia, 2011) which is followed by increased sensitivity to environmental stresses.
