Pelvic organ prolapse is a common condition affecting 41–50% of women [1]. Although it is typically considered a quality of life issue, there have been sporadic reports of severe sequelae [2]. We present a case of a rare uterine mass that was mistaken for pelvic organ prolapse. The unique composition of this mass allowed for its acute prolapse causing uterine inversion with critical anemia requiring emergent surgery [3]. …
