Zusammenfassung

Mit Ausnahme endoskopisch abtragbarer T1a-Tumoren stellt die chirurgische Therapie aktuell den einzigen kurativen Ansatz bei Magenkarzinomen und Karzinomen des ösophagogastralen Überganges dar. Zielsetzung der chirurgischen Therapie ist die komplette Entfernung des Tumors in den Ebenen nach oral, aboral und zirkumferenziell samt Resektion des regionalen lymphatischen Drainagegebietes.
