Zusammenfassung

Zunehmend wird in der Literatur über steigende Fallzahlen von Brustimplantat-assoziierten Krankheitsbildern berichtet, wodurch die Wahl des bestgeeigneten Implantats bei ästhetischen und rekonstruktiven Eingriffen zunehmend im Fokus steht. Die vorliegende Arbeit diskutiert unsere Kriterien zur Wahl des Implantats anhand der spezifischen Implantateigenschaften und klinischen Konstellationen, des Wunsches der Patientin sowie die Operationstechnik, beginnend mit der Erfassung der anatomischen Parameter, der präoperativen Anzeichnung und des intraoperativen Vorgehens. Ein langfristig zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis für Patienten und Operateure kann nur erreicht werden, wenn alle genannten Variablen bei der Planung und Durchführung beachtet werden, um dann eine optimale individuelle Lösung für die Patientin zu kreieren.

Prof. Dr. med. Gregor Antoniadis Das Karpaltunnelsyndrom ist die häufigste Kompressionsneuropathie peripherer Nerven. Obwohl die Anamnese mit dem nächtlichen Einschlafen der Hand (Brachialgia parästhetica nocturna) sehr typisch ist, ist eine klinisch-neurologische Untersuchung und Elektroneurografie in manchen Fällen auch eine Neurosonografie erforderlich. Im Anfangsstadium sind konservative Maßnahmen (Handgelenksschiene, Ergotherapie) empfehlenswert.
