LeFort colpocleisis is an obliterative procedure with minimal morbidity in patients who are sexually inactive [
1]. It creates a sagittal vaginal septum and bilateral channels, which provide bidirectional conduits to the upper genital system. If these channels are not large enough, blood or purulent fluid may collect within the uterus or proximal vagina. After LeFort colpocleisis, pyometra has been reported in association with inadequate lateral vaginal drainage channels [
