Zusammenfassung

Inadäquate Schockabgaben sind eine gefürchtete Komplikation bei Patienten nach Implantation eines Kardioverter-Defibrillators, welche die Lebensqualität der betroffenen Patienten sehr stark beeinträchtigt. Die Ursachen von inadäquaten Schockabgaben beim subkutanen ICD (S-ICD®, Boston Scientific, Marlborough, MA, USA) sind vielfältig. Diese Übersichtsarbeit fasst die aktuelle Literatur zu diesem Thema zusammen und zeigt mögliche Behandlungsstrategien.
