Karenzmaßnahmen bei Milbenallergie - ein Update

Zusammenfassung

Hausstaubmilben sind eine Hauptallergenquelle im Hausstaub und somit Hauptauslöser für perenniale, allergische Atemwegserkrankungen [1, 2, 3, 4, 5].
Wissenschaftliche Forschungen über den Lebenszyklus, die Ernährung sowie das Fortpflanzungsverhalten von Hausstaubmilben und über die Biologie von Milbenallergenen haben Mechanismen aufgedeckt, die zur Entwicklung von Atemwegsallergien führen und legen Maßnahmen nahe, die die Exposition gegenüber Hausstaubmilbenallergenen minimieren können.
Wir erörtern hier die Belege für den Zusammenhang zwischen Hausstaubmilbenexposition und Atemwegsallergien und stellen die Wirksamkeit von Karenzmaßnahmen und deren wissenschaftliche Evidenz vor.
