Zusammenfassung

Die Mitralklappenchirurgie hat in den letzten 50 Jahren eine enorme Wandlung erfahren. Neben der Vertiefung von rekonstruktiven Techniken und der Implementierung der minimal-invasiven Herzklappen- und Roboterchirurgie konnten wesentliche Erkenntnisse zum Langzeitverlauf unterschiedlichster Operationsverfahren erlangt werden. Diese hielten Einzug in die geltenden Leitlinien. Die vorliegende Übersichtsarbeit gliedert sich in Zehnjahresabschnitte, in denen dem Autor als relevant erscheinende Publikationen in übersichtlicher Form referiert werden. Sie sollen dem Leser einen Anhalt zum Nachschlagen geben und erheben keinen Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit.
