Zusammenfassung

Frühe Korrelate kindlicher Motorik sind die bereits intrauterin stattfindenden „general movements“. Zunehmend willkürliche, anfangs ineffiziente Bewegungen des Säuglings/Kleinkinds bilden die Grundlage der motorischen Entwicklung, die von Adaptationsvorgängen geprägt ist. Der motorische Entwicklungsstand wird anhand des Grenzsteinkonzepts in den Vorsorgeuntersuchungen eingeschätzt. Mithilfe qualitativer Aspekte werden Entwicklungshürden antizipiert und Differenzialdiagnosen gestellt. Neurologische Auffälligkeiten werden in der entwicklungsadaptierten klinisch-neurologischen Untersuchung auf eine sog. milde neurologische Dysfunktion (MND) erfasst. In Deutschland ist der Begriff der umschriebenen Entwicklungsstörung der motorischen Funktionen (UEMF) etabliert; seine Kodierung setzt das Fehlen einer anderen neurologischen Erkrankung und einer Intelligenzminderung voraus. Der Entwicklungsstand wird in allgemeinen Entwicklungstests eingeschätzt, spezifische Motoriktests dienen der genauen Eingrenzung des Störungsbilds.
