A 70-year-old man developed calcific uraemic arteriolopathy (CUA; calciphylaxis) during treatment with acenocoumarol, calcium-carbonate, sevelamer and paricalcitol. He also developed nausea, hypocalcaemia, QT-interval prolongation, pain and mild high anion gap metabolic acidosis during off-label treatment with sodium thiosulphate for CUA.
