Elektrophysiologische Untersuchungen sind für die Diagnose der MS wegen des hohen Informationsgewinns der MRT in den Hintergrund getreten. In den aktuellen McDonald-Diagnosekriterien sind sie nur fakultativ. Insbesondere visuell evozierte Potenziale gelten in neueren Studien als Biomarker für Remyelinisierung, sodass sich die Elektrophysiologie ihren Platz als diagnostisches Instrument "zurückerobert". …
