Die Behandlung mit Immuncheckpointinhibitoren gilt als gut verträglich. Dennoch kann sie ein breites Spektrum an immunvermittelten Nebenwirkungen hervorrufen, darunter auch neurologische. Diese sind zwar selten, aufgrund ihres mitunter lebensbedrohlichen Verlaufs bedürfen sie aber besondere Beachtung.
