Dringlichkeit der operativen Versorgung bei der rissbedingten Netzhautablösung

Zusammenfassung

Der ideale Operationszeitpunkt bei Patienten mit einer rissbedingten Netzhautablösung wird seit Jahrzehnten diskutiert. Die Studienlage hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren verbessert, sodass mittlerweile Empfehlungen ausgesprochen werden können. Wenn die Makula abgehoben ist, ist eine operative Versorgung der Netzhautablösung innerhalb weniger Tage anzustreben. Bei anliegender Makula ist die zentrumsnahe und hochblasige Ablatio von superotemporal als Notfall einzustufen. Bei der Operationsplanung sind auch Umfeldfaktoren unbedingt zu berücksichtigen. So ist der Eingriff durch ein routiniertes Operationsteam für das Gesamtergebnis meist bedeutsamer als die Netzhautsituation alleine. In diesem Beitrag werden die beeinflussenden Faktoren sowie Empfehlungen für den Umgang mit diesen Notfallpatienten diskutiert.
