Retinale Tumoren im Erwachsenenalter – Teil 2: Nichtvaskuläre Tumoren der Retina und des retinalen Pigmentepithels

Zusammenfassung

Retinale Tumoren bilden eine heterogene Gruppe angeborener und erworbener Läsionen. Im zweiten Teil des Beitrags werden die retinozytären und Gliazelltumoren der Retina, Tumoren des retinalen Pigmentepithels, maligne Tumoren wie Lymphome und Metastasen vorgestellt. Bei benignen und malignen Tumoren treten visuelle Symptome, wie z. B. eine exsudative Netzhautablösung auf, die oftmals zu irreversiblen Sehbehinderungen führen. Da visuelle Symptome häufig eine Manifestation von Systemerkrankungen sind, spielt der Augenarzt eine wichtige Rolle bei der genauen und frühzeitigen Diagnose von Tumoren der Netzhaut. Im folgenden Artikel werden die wichtigsten klinischen und diagnostischen Merkmale der Tumoren der Netzhaut bei Erwachsenen, ihre systemischen Assoziationen und die Literatur zu den derzeit verfügbaren Behandlungsstrategien besprochen.
