Mit einer Inzidenz von zehn bis 30 pro 100.000 Einwohnern sowie einer mittleren Mortalität von 16 % stellt der Status epilepticus einen zeitkritischen akuten neurologischen Notfall dar, der einer unmittelbaren Therapie und Diagnostik bedarf. Für die Therapie des Status epilepticus stehen verschiedene Medikamente und Substanzgruppen zur Verfügung, deren Einsatz gemäß nationalen und internationalen Leitlinien einem strukturierten Stufenkonzept unterliegt. …
