Ablation ähnlich gut wie Neurektomie

Eine Radiofrequenzablation nasaler Nerven wirkt gegen allergische Rhinitis ähnlich gut wie eine endoskopische Neurektomie. Nach drei bis sechs Monaten sind mit beiden Verfahren die Beschwerden größtenteils verschwunden.

Auf ein Tumordebulking zusätzlich zur Chemotherapie können Behandelnde bei Kolorektalkarzinomen und Befall multipler Organe verzichten. In einer Phase-3-Studie verlängerte die Zytoreduktion das Leben nicht signifikant, dafür traten häufiger ernste Nebenwirkungen auf.
