He has been attending physician since 2009 and senior attending physician at the Obstetrics Clinic of the University Hospital Zurich since 2015. After completing his medical studies at the Freie Universität of Berlin and Humboldt Universität of Berlin, he continued his studies as a Research Fellow in the Perinatal Physiology Research Unit, Department of Obstetrics, University Hospital Zurich. In 2003, he started his medical training in gynaecology, obstetrics and neonatology in Zurich and Berlin. In 2014, he completed his special training in fetomaternal medicine. He was awarded a Habilitation in Zurich in 2016. His clinical focus is on invasive and non-invasive diagnostics and therapy of fetal diseases as well as management of high-risk pregnancies and births. He is a reviewer in various international scientific journals and is currently the President of the Gynaecology/Obstetrics Section of the Swiss Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. …
