Parasomnien und paroxysmale Dyskinesien

Zusammenfassung

Kurze, unwillkürliche Bewegungen oder Verhaltensmuster, die attackenhaft auftreten, können bei erstem Auftreten oft mit epileptischen Anfällen verwechselt werden, zumal die Attacken typischerweise nicht von ärztlichem Personal beobachtet werden und die Anamnese und Fremdanamnese der Episoden nicht gut zwischen epileptischen Anfällen und ihren Differenzialdiagnosen unterscheidet. Diese Übersichtsarbeit stellt die Epidemiologie, die klinische Präsentation, die nötige Diagnostik und die differenzialdiagnostischen Erwägungen bei Parasomnien und Dyskinesien dar. Der Fokus liegt auf den klinischen Aspekten, kurz werden auch therapeutische Prinzipien beschrieben.
