A 44-year-old woman was found to have a neck mass during her physical examination. Her routine laboratory workup was unremarkable. Ultrasonography revealed multiple thyroid nodules. The dominant nodule in the right nodule was subjected to fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) and revealed a benign cytology. Due to compressive symptoms, the patient underwent total thyroidectomy 45 days after the FNA. …
