Zusammenfassung

In der präklinischen und der klinischen Notfallmedizin sind Laboruntersuchungen nach dem klinischen Assessment, dem EKG und neben der Bildgebung (Ultraschall, Röntgen) das wichtigste Standbein der Diagnostik. Dabei erfolgen Laboruntersuchungen primär zur Diagnostik eines unklaren Krankheitsbildes, zur Unterstützung initialer Therapiemaßnahmen und zur Risikostratifizierung. Dabei wird das Hauptaugenmerk auf schnell verfügbare Vitalparameter wie Elektrolyte, Laktat, kardiales Troponin oder Hämoglobin gelegt.
