Zusammenfassung

Das Nierenzellkarzinom wird oft im Rahmen einer Routineuntersuchung entdeckt. Wenn es rechtzeitig erkannt und therapiert wird, ist die Prognose keineswegs ungünstig. Daher gilt für den Hausarzt: Immer auch die Nieren im Auge behalten, wenn ein Abdomensonogramm geplant wird.
