Clinical and Translational Oncology has accomplished a substantial increase in the number of manuscripts received for evaluation. However, constraints of space make it impossible to publish all the submitted papers that are of sufficient quality and interest. Our commitment with high quality translational and clinical research remains unchanged, and papers accepted for publication must meet stringent requirements of scientific breadth and impact to the field as well as high scientific quality, originality and priority. Manuscripts that do not meet all of these criteria are not acceptable for publication. The present number of submissions is much greater than the number of articles that we can publish, and it also exceeds the number of manuscripts that can be carefully reviewed in a timely manner. …
