Die operative Beurteilung der Leistenlymphknoten ist mit Ausnahme von Stadium IA (sog. mikroinvasives Karzinom mit bis zu 1 mm Stromainvasion und <2 cm Flächenausdehnung) in allen Stadien notwendig. Sie hat sowohl diagnostische Bedeutung, da in Abhängigkeit vom Lymphknotenbefall eine adjuvante Therapie indiziert wird, als auch therapeutische Implikationen, da tumorbefallene nicht entfernte Lymphknoten Ausgangspunkt für Leistenrezidive sein können. …
