Zusammenfassung

Die akute Mittelohrentzündung ist eine der häufigsten Erkrankungen. Doch auch wenn sie für den HNO-Arzt gewissermaßen alltäglich ist, kann sie zur Herausforderung werden. Denn Komplikationen und schwierige Verläufe sind nicht auszuschließen und der Einsatz von Antibiotika muss stets individuell sorgfältig abgewogen werden.
