IOTA-Modelle zur Beurteilung von Adnexbefunden

Optimierung der Strategien zur Diagnostik von Ovarialkarzinomen

Zusammenfassung

Die beschriebenen Definitionen und Kriterien sowie Modelle erleichtern die präoperative Klassifikation der Adnexbefunde und erlauben eine zuverlässige Einschätzung der Dignität. Gutartige Befunde können abhängig von der klinischen Symptomatik und den weiteren Risikofaktoren entweder abwartend überwacht oder laparoskopisch behandelt werden. Die malignen Befunde müssen durch onkologisch operierende Spezialisten weiter beurteilt und therapiert werden. Die durch die einfachen Regeln nicht klassifizierbaren Ultraschallbefunde werden idealerweise durch einen Ultraschallexperten (>10.000 Untersuchungen) weiter beurteilt und abgeklärt. Mit diesem 2‑stufigen Verfahren können auch in Abteilungen mit wenig Erfahrung Ergebnisse mit ausgezeichneter Sensitivität und Spezifität erzielt werden.
