Thyrotoxicosis is uncommon in children, with a prevalence of 0.35 per 1,000 individuals in the age range 0–18 years, based on an estimate derived from the 2008 United States census [
1]. The vast majority of those affected have Graves disease and present with diffuse goiter and elevated thyroglobulin. This report illustrates a rare example of papillary thyroid carcinoma in a teenager. It is a differential diagnosis to consider in children with thyrotoxicosis. …
