Komplikationen des atopischen Ekzems im Kindesalter

Zusammenfassung

Das atopische Ekzem ist eine chronisch entzündliche Hauterkrankung und im frühen Kindesalter besonders häufig. Kinder mit atopischem Ekzem neigen sowohl zu bakteriellen Infektionen insbesondere mit Staphylococcus aureus als auch zu disseminierten viralen Infektionen. Eczema molluscatum (Molluscum-contagiosum-Virus), Eczema herpeticatum (Herpes-simplex-Virus), Eczema coxsackium (Coxsackie-Virus) und das impfpockenvirusbedingte Eczema vaccinatum sind klinisch wichtige Erkrankungen. Die lipophile Hefe Malassezia furfur ist mit dem atopischen Kopf-Hals-Ekzem assoziiert. Diese Arbeit gibt eine Übersicht der klinisch wichtigsten infektiösen Komplikationen des atopischen Ekzems im Kindesalter und erläutert die wesentlichen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten.
