Primäre Immundefekte äußern sich meist durch häufige und atypisch verlaufende Infektionen. Doch ob ein Kind "zu oft" krank ist, lässt sich im Einzelfall schwer entscheiden, vor allem wenn Kinderärzte wenig Erfahrung mit diesem seltenen Krankheitsbild haben. Die "ELVIS"- und "GARFIELD"-Kriterien können in der Praxis beim Erkennen primärer Immundefekte hilfreich sein. Für weitere Diagnostik und optimale Therapie ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit spezialisierten Zentren zu empfehlen. …
