Zusammenfassung

Eine sichere und ausgewogene enterale Ernährung ist wichtiger Bestandteil der kindlichen Entwicklung, Autonomie und Lebensqualität. Kinder mit z. B. anatomischen Fehlbildungen des Oropharyngealtrakts, neurologischen Erkrankungen oder auch Kurzdarm benötigen häufig eine zusätzliche oder vollständige Ernährung über eine Sonde. Hierfür stehen diverse Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung. In diesem CME-Beitrag wird insbesondere auf die Ernährung über Perkutane-endoskopische-Gastrostomie(PEG)-Sonden eingegangen.
