Kind mit gefäßreichem „Kloß“ im Hals

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über den Fall einer 11-jährigen Patientin berichtet, die sich mit kloßiger Sprache und einer stattgehabten oralen Blutung in der Notaufnahme vorstellte. Hier zeigte sich eine vaskularisierte Raumforderung des Zungengrunds, welche nahezu den gesamten Oropharynx verlegte. Nach komplexer anästhesiologischer Vorbereitung und anschließender endoluminaler Embolisation konnte der Tumor transoral lasermikrochirurgisch entfernt werden. Histologisch zeigte sich ein in diesem Bereich selten auftretendes Schwannom. Der Patientin wurden klinische Kontrollen und eine genetische Abklärung empfohlen.
