Zusammenfassung

Das Schädel-Hirn-Trauma zählt zu den häufigsten Gründen für eine Krankenhausbehandlung und Tod im Kindesalter. Es gilt, bei Bagatelltraumen eine Übertherapie zu vermeiden und gleichzeitig bedrohlich verletzte Kinder zuverlässig zu erkennen und effektiv zu therapieren.
