Zusammenfassung

Angehörige können langfristig psychologische Symptome entwickeln (Post-intensive Care Syndrome-Familiy, PICS-F). Die Betreuung von Angehörigen gehört zu den ärztlichen und pflegerischen Aufgaben. Sie beinhaltet unter anderem umfassende Besuchsmöglichkeiten, Erreichbarkeit des ICU-Teams, physische Versorgung, geeignete Kommunikation, emotionalen oder spirituellen Beistand.
