Zusammenfassung

Die differenzierte Betrachtung der Symptome an der Hals- und Lendenwirbelsäule führt zu einer Aufschlüsselung der Beschwerden in zuordenbare Schmerzgeneratoren, sodass eine zielgerichtete Therapie erfolgen kann. Je nach Schmerzgenerator wird wurzelnah oder zu den Gelenken gespritzt. Dadurch wird der Teufelskreis des Schmerzes durchbrochen. Von großer Bedeutung ist das korrekte technische Vorgehen. Die pharmakologische Wirkung und spezielle Komplikationen müssen exakt beachtet werden. Ein Monitoring und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen sind verpflichtend.
