Photodynamische Therapie nichtonkologischer Indikationen

Zusammenfassung

Während die Wirksamkeit der topischen photodynamischen Therapie (PDT) in der Behandlung von oberflächlichen, nicht pigmentierten Hauttumoren inzwischen durch klinisch kontrollierte Studien hinreichend belegt ist, liegen nur wenige kontrollierte Studien vor, die die Wirksamkeit der PDT auch in der Behandlung zahlreicher nichtonkologischer Hauterkrankungen zeigen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird der Einsatz der PDT bei entzündlichen Dermatosen, Erkrankungen der Talgdrüsen und Haarfollikel, Infektionen der Haut, sklerosierenden Hauterkrankungen und kosmetischen Indikationen vorgestellt und diskutiert.
