Altersepilepsien – Teil II: Therapie

Zusammenfassung

Bei der Therapie der Altersepilepsie bergen allgemeine altersbezogene Leiden, Multimorbidität, niedriges Körpergewicht sowie eingeschränkte Leber- und Nierenfunktion Risiken für Medikamentennebenwirkungen. Optimierte Versorgungssysteme mit neurogeriatrischer Fachkompetenz und Complianceprogramme können die Situation der Altersepilepsie aber deutlich verbessern.
