Zusammenfassung

Beim oralen Lichen ruber mucosae handelt es sich um eine entzündliche Erkrankung der Mundschleimhaut unklarer Pathogenese. Aufgrund der chronischen Entzündung ist bei 1–2 % der Patienten mit einer malignen Entartung im Sinne eines Plattenepithelkarzinoms zu rechnen, was wir hier an einem exemplarischen Fall darstellen.
