Der Spannungspneumothorax gehört neben dem Perikarderguss, der Aortendissektion, dem akuten Myokardinfakt und der Lungenembolie zu den sog. „big five“ der notfallmedizinischen Pathologien des Thorax, d. h. den 5 lebensbedrohlichen Krankheitsbildern. Im Gegensatz zu den übrigen 4 ist er jedoch einfach zu therapieren und mit einem guten Outcome vergesellschaftet. …
