Recent data suggest that the Arg72Pro polymorphism of the TP53 gene is correlated to TP53 mutations and prognosis in breast cancer [1, 2]. In addition, LOH with retention of the Arg allele has been associated with reduced disease-free survival and overall survival [3]. …
