Comments by Kirch and Ast (2017) are a welcome invitation to psychologists from the President of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) that asks psychologists to participate actively in the evolution of Academic Health Centers (AHCs), as these centers confront new challenges posed by transformations in the US health care system (Kirch & Ast, 2017). Moreover, the authors go a step further; they invite psychologists to be not only participants but also to assume leadership roles in AHCs. …
