Patient-Reported Outcomes in klinischer Praxis

Zusammenfassung

Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) sind gesundheitsbezogene Selbsteinschätzungen von Patient*innen, die dazu beitragen können, die Patientenperspektive stärker in die Therapie und Versorgung einzubeziehen. Viele Studien in onkologischen Settings weisen auf einen Nutzen für Informationsgewinnung, Behandlungsprozess und Gesundheit von Patient*innen hin. Zur Auswahl geeigneter PRO für diverse Settings und Ziele gibt es wissenschaftlich entwickelte validierte Instrumente (PRO-Measures, PROM). Aufgrund vereinfachter Dateneingabe, automatisierter Datenverarbeitung und grafischer Ergebnisdarstellung ist die elektronische Erfassung empfehlenswert. Die Implementierung elektronischer PRO-Erfassungen ist eine komplexe Herausforderung, die strukturiertes Vorgehen erfordert. Dabei sind die Erfassung der Ausgangssituation, die Einbeziehung und Motivation aller Beteiligten, deren Schulung und Begleitung, die interprofessionelle Ergebnisnutzung sowie eine systematische Evaluation zu berücksichtigen.
