Ein Ansatz zur Behandlung von Selbstwertproblemen

Zusammenfassung

Selbstwertprobleme stellen bei vielen psychischen Störungen wichtige Ursachen und Ansatzpunkte für die therapeutische Arbeit dar. Ausgehend von etablierten Theorien und wichtigen Befunden werden Behandlungsvorschläge abgeleitet, die durch ein pragmatisches Rahmenmodell verbunden sind, das im Therapieverlauf Orientierung schafft. Durch kognitiv orientierte Interventionen wird auf Veränderungen des expliziten Selbstwerts gezielt, während der implizite Selbstwert durch emotionsaktivierende, verhaltensorientierte Interventionen, imaginative Verfahren und eine Verbesserung der Befriedigung relevanter Bedürfnisse verbessert werden soll.
