Reizdarm bei Kindern — eine gestörte Interaktion von Darm und ZNS

Zusammenfassung

Chronisch rezidivierenden Bauchschmerzen bei Kindern liegt meist ein Reizdarmsyndrom mit einer multifaktoriellen Ätiologie zugrunde, für das es nach der Rom-IV-Konferenz eine neue Definition gibt. Neben genetischen und familiären Faktoren spielen frühe Traumata und gastrointestinale Infektionen eine Rolle. Entscheidend für die Therapie sind Beratungen und Schulungen über das biopsychosoziale Bauchschmerzmodell.
