Rosuvastatin

A 57-year-old woman receiving rosuvastatin for dyslipidaemia developed thrombocytopenia. The woman was incidentally found to have thrombocytopenia during routine evaluation. History, physical examination, laboratory investigations and imaging did not reveal any alternative cause. Her medications included rosuvastatin and calcium supplements.
